Spindle
Lodge was built in 1876 on West Walk, a
tree-lined street in the heart of the City
Conservation Area in the Dutch Style. Despite
its central position the Spindle Lodge is
in a quiet location.
At the end of West
Walk is the New Walk, a pedestrian promenade
that takes you into the city centre.
The
Spindle Lodge is only a 5 minute walk to
Leicester University main campus and around
the corner from the education department
and other university buildings.
